The Unmentionable Symptoms of Arachnoiditis: Bowl, Bladder and Sexual Dysfunction; Pelvic Pain

by Dr. Sarah Smith

CONCLUSION:

Chronic pelvic pain, loss of control over excretion and loss of sexual function can be some of the worst aspects of arachnoiditis. Even in a ‘permissive’ society, where taboos have generally been banished, it is nevertheless extremely difficult to discuss intimate details with a third party.

These problems remain a source of considerable stress and distress to arachnoiditis sufferers.
